Joseph and Susan Hickman of Masontown announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelby Nicole Hickman, to Joseph Lee Wrona of Smithfield, son of Randy and Patti Wrona of Smithfield.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and Fayette County Vocational-Technical School. She is a certified nursing assistant at Uniontown Hospital.

Her fiance is also a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and Fayette County Vocational-Technical School. He is employed with Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Morgantown, W.Va.

An April 14, 2012, wedding is being planned.
