Mr. and Mrs. David Whitlock of New Salem celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 17. Mrs. Whitlock is the former Patricia Ryan, daughter of the late Okey and Mary Jane Ryan.

They are the parents of two sons, David Jr. and his wife, Chris of Merrittstown, and Jeff and his wife, Julie of Collierville, Tenn.

They have three grandsons, Nathan, Tim and Jeff Jr., and a granddaughter, Patti. A grandson, David, is deceased.

Mrs. Whitlock was previously employed at the former Second National Bank and was also a secretary at Lafayette School.

Mr. Whitlock is retired after 33 years with West Penn Power Co.

A family dinner celebration for February is planned.
