Ed Cope honored by firemen’s association
?Ed Cope, (at left) retired chief photographer of the Herald-Standard, is presented a special recognition award from the Fayette County Firemen’s Association for his years of professionalism and consideration for the public and especially for members of emergency service. Cope is a life member of the New Haven Hose Co. in Connellsville. The award was given at the Fayette County Firemen’s Convention in Fairchance. Making the presentation are Debbie Parshall of Fayette City Volunteer Fire Department, president, and Larry D. Abel of the Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department, secretary.
