Charles and Colleen Bauer of Masontown announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn Elizabeth Bauer of Hopwood, to Joe Allen Pheasant of Fairmont, W.Va., son of Joe and Linda Pheasant of Fairmont, W.Va.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Albert Gallatin Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of Waynesburg University. She earned a bachelor of science degree in business with an emphasis on management. She is employed as the volume recruiter for Vertex Business Services in Smithfield.
Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of East Fairmont High School and is employed as the performance manager for Vertex Business Services in Smithfield.
A wedding is being planned for May 12, 2012.
