Colonel Andrew Lynn Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at noon Saturday at The Inn at Watson’s Choice for its Flag Day luncheon. “History of the Flag” will be presented by Lynn Keller.
CALVARY APOSTOLIC CHURCH, 127 Rolling Hills Estate Road, Uniontown, will hold its annual block party from 8?a.m. to 4?p.m. Saturday. Free doughnuts and coffee will be served from 8 to 10?a.m. A petting zoo, blow-ups, slides, face painting, flea market, puppet shows, music and free hot dogs, popcorn and drinks will be featured. Prizes will be given away each hour.
?CALVIN UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 307 Spring St., Brownsville, will hold its annual strawberry festival from 11?a.m. to 3?p.m. Sunday. Menu includes strawberries on homemade waffle with ice cream, strawberry smoothies, fresh strawberries in a bowl, chicken or egg salad on croissant, ice tea or lemonade and strawberry shortcake.
FAYETTE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY will hold its general membership meeting at 7?p.m. Monday at the Able Colley Tavern museum. A presentation on early photography will be given by Vince Karolewiczs. The executive board meeting will precede the general meeting.
