Mr., Mrs. Bogorae mark 40th anniversary
Chuck and Joanne Bogorae of Brownsville are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today.
They were married June 12, 1971, at the Madonna Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church in Cardale by Monsignor A.L. Zwolinski.
?Mrs. Bogorae is the former Joanne Wyda, daughter of Florence Wyda of Thompson 1 and the late Edward Wyda.
She retired in August 2009 after 32 years with Gallatin, Integra and National City banks of Brownsville where she worked in consumer lending.
Mr. Bogorae is the son of Josephine Bogorae of Brownsville and the late Charles Bogorae. He retired in June 2010 after 40 years as a second grade school teacher at Central Elementary School in the Brownsville Area School District.
They are the parents of a son, Michael C. Bogorae and his wife, Crystal (Zapotosky) Bogorae of Brownsville.
They will be honored at a Mass offered today at The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville followed by a dinner reception at The Thompson House Restaurant in Brownsville for their immediate family.
