Kathleen Jane Hogan of Glastonbury, Conn., and Jared Leslie White of Troutville, Va., were united in marriage during a nuptial Mass at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church in Hartford, Conn.

The Rev. Tom Gallagher officiated the Oct. 2 ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hogan of Glastonbury, Conn. She is the granddaughter of Marilyn Burgess and the late Paul Burgess of Norwich, Conn., and Carroll Hogan and the late Jack Hogan of Milford, Conn.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack White III of Troutville, Va. He is the grandson of the late Ann and John Russin of Brownsville, and the late Ellen and Jack White II of Republic.

The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a white gown of silk taffeta featuring a ruched bodice and side draping finished with soft crystal beading and a French bustle.

The maid of honor was Jeanne Jacobs of Waltham, Mass. The bridesmaids were Jocelyn White Ingram of Frederick, Md., sister of the groom; Lindsey Burgess of Stonington, Conn., cousin of the bride; Kelly Tenney of Newtown, Conn., cousin of the bride; and Adina Dinkel of Pittsburgh, cousin of the groom.

The best man was William Monan of Hoboken, N.J. Groomsmen were Christopher Ingram of Frederick, Md., brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Kevin Hogan of San Francisco, Calif., brother of the bride; Donald Frazier of New Orleans, La., cousin of the groom; and Zack Mottershead of Charlotte, N.C.

Flower girls were Jessica and Ann Sloyan of Charlotte, N.C., cousins of the bride, and Taelyn Ingram of Frederick, Md., godchild of the bride and groom. Sampson Hopkins of Ledyard, Conn., cousin of the bride, presented the rings.

A reception followed the ceremony in the Candlelit Ballroom at the Avon Old Farms Inn in Avon, Conn.

The bride is a graduate of Northeastern University where she received her bachelor of science degree and her doctorate degree in physical therapy. She is employed at The Sports Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta, Ga.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Northeastern University where he received a bachelor of science degree and of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received his master of business administration degree. He is an analyst for Stephen’s Investment Bank in Atlanta.

The newlyweds went on a wedding trip to the Riviera Maya, Mexico. They reside in the Buckhead community of Atlanta.

Their marriage was blessed in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Nov. 6 in Roanoke, Va., with the Rev. Constantine Nastos conducting the traditional ceremony.

A celebration dinner followed at The Maridor in Roanoke.
