CARMICHAELS FREE METHODIST CHURCH is holding a spaghetti dinner from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the grange on Route 21 in Carmichaels. The cost for dinner will be $7 per plate for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. The menu will include spaghetti and meatballs, salad, roll, dessert and a drink. Takeout will be available. The money raised from the dinner will be donated to the Madison and KJ Teagarden Memorial fund. THE EAST END UNITED COMMUNITY CENTER is having its first annual calendar party from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the EEUCC Community Center, 150 Coolspring St., Uniontown. The cost of the ticket is $10. There will be a light lunch served as well as entertainment by Mr. Gerald Ellington, the Uniontown’s Got Talent first place winner in the senior category. HAZEL G. CLUSS CIRCLE of Asbury United Methodist Church will meet at 11 a.m. Dec. 14 at Caleigh’s Restaurant, Uniontown. The program will be presented by Mary Margaret LaCava. Shirley Sullivan is circle chairwoman. Lunch will follow the meeting.
MT. MACRINA MANOR will hold their 18th annual live nativity from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 11 on the grounds of Mt. Macrinia in North Union Township. In addition to the volunteers who are participating, there will also be live animals. Several groups will sing Christmas carols. Five hundred luminaries will line the driveway that leads to the Nativity. The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome. For more information, call 724-430-1021.
