Alyssa Swaney celebrated her 12th birthday Oct. 16. She is the daughter of Tim and Lana Swaney of Masontown. Grandparents are Rick and Annie Hickle, also of Masontown. Great-grandparents are William and Betty Chappell and Clarence and Geraldine Bricker, both of Fairchance. Alyssa is a sixth-grade student and attends North Junior High School in the Albert Gallatin Area School District. A party was held in her honor.
