Mr., Mrs. Roche celebrate their 50th anniversary
Linda L. and Robert L. Roche of Hopwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.
The couple were married Sept. 23, 1961 at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown. The 9 a.m. ceremony was officiated by Rev. David L. Fisher.
Mrs. Roche is a homemaker and Mr. Roche is retired from the Uniontown School District.
They are the parents of five children, Robert and his wife Tracy of Blanchard, Okla., Andrew and his wife Stephanie of Paris, France, Anna Marie of San Francisco Calif., Matthew and his wife Wendy of Fredericksburg,Va., and Jennifer of Milwaukee,Wis.
The couple also has six grandchildren, Jessica, Megan, Thomas, Isabelle, Ethan and Owen.
The Roche’s celebrated their anniversary with all of their children and grandchildren at a family reunion at Deep Creek. The couple attended a special dinner at the Cornish Manor Restaurant where their children presented them with a trip to The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. The couple will also travel to Bermuda.
