AMERICAN LEGION POST 51 will hold their executive board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday with a regular meeting to follow at 7 p.m. All members are asked to attend.
BELL TELEPHONE OPERATORS will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. Monday at Eat n’ Park.
CATHOLIC WAR VETERANS AUXILIARY POST 1669 will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Post home.
MARY BETH CIRCLE of Asbury United Methodist Church will host a Bible study on the story of Ruth at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. The meeting will follow with Circle Chairwoman Valerie Sesler presiding. Hostesses will be Lori Detweiler and Valerie Sesler.
MASONTOWN COMMUNITY KITCHEN will host their next meal from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 102 West Church Ave., Masontown. The menu will be roasted pork loin, rice, vegetable medley, homemade desserts and Panera breads. Hot, nutritious meals are free to everyone and are served every other Tuesday along with a helping of fellowship and hospitality. Donations are gratefully accepted and are used for future meals.
The Community Kitchen depends on the generosity of the local churches and their members who volunteer to help cook, serve and clean for the soup kitchen. At the last dinner, the confirmation class at Grace Chapel Church volunteered at the kitchen and provided a variety of desserts. FAYETTE COUNTY AMERICAN LEGION committee will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Post 278 Smithfield-Fairchance. Commander Miller is requesting as many members from each post attend the meeting and bring their concerns and questions so they can be addressed.
ST. MARY’S GOLDEN CLUB will meet at 1 p.m. Monday in the meeting room of Meadow Heights on Beeson Boulevard.
STEPPING STONES GRIEF SUPPORT will hold a group meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Fayette County Health Center. The speaker will be Andrew Ferguson who will discuss “Living Day by Day.” The community is encouraged to attend and bring a friend. Refreshments will be served. UNIONTOWN CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S CLUB will host their April luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Uniontown Country Club. The luncheon will feature Sister Annette Frey with Rendu Services of Uniontown. The speaker will be Carol Reese of Erie and vocalist will be Tami Miskanin of Uniontown. Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling Sue at 724-438-7723.
US STEEL PENSIONEERS CLUB will meet 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Golden Corral.
