AMERICAN LEGION UNIT 51 AUXILIARY will host a calendar party from 2 to 4 p.m. May 6. Doors will open at 1 p.m. There will be refreshments and prizes. Please see an officer or member of the auxiliary to purchase a ticket.
OAK HILL BAPTIST CHURCH will host an Election Day chicken and biscuit dinner from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at 100 Old Frame Road, Smithfield. The menu will include chicken and biscuits, mash potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, cranberry dessert and beverage. Call 724-569-0722 for deliveries.
ROSCOE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will hold its annual roast beef dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church. Takeouts will be available. Tickets can be purchased from church members or at the door.
UNIONTOWN SONS OF ITALY is serving eat in or takeout pasta dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month. The menu includes spaghetti, meat or cheese ravioli and linguini with red or white clam sauce. Dinners include meatballs, salad and bread. Containers of sauce can also be purchased. Orders can be called ahead at 724-439-2290. The Sons of Italy is located on Route 119, three miles north of Uniontown.
WARRIOR TRAIL ASSOCIATION will hold their meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Warrior Trail Headquarters, Fordyce, Greene County. A program on 18th century taverns will be presented by Pete Stefansky of the First Virginia Regulars, a French and Indian War re-enacting group. WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA FIREMEN’S ASSOCIATION will hold their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Saturday at Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Department.
