EASTER SEALS WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA FAYETTE SITE is hosting its annual lily fundraiser starting Feb. 27 through March 30. The cost of a 5 to 7 bulb potted plant is $9. Deliveries will be made April 2 to 4. All pick up orders will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 4. To place an order, call the Easter Seals Fayette Site at 724-437-4047. All net proceeds from this fundraiser will support services that assist children and adults with disabilities in the community.
EAST END UNITED COMMUNITY CENTER will feature Rev. Howard Dantzler as part of its ongoing Intergenerational Male Mentoring Program at 6 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Dantzler, a pastor at Interfaith Church, will speak on the topic of Black History in Uniontown in recognition of Black History Month. This event is free and open to the public and will be held at the center located at 150 Coolspring St., Uniontown. All are welcome and refreshments will be served. SMOCK VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT will be holding a fish fry from 3 to 6 p.m. all Fridays during lent, with the exception of good Friday, at their social hall located on Shaffer Avenue, Smock. ST. MARY’S CHURCH IN LECKRONE is currently taking orders for perogies. The selection includes potato and cheese, sauerkraut and prune for $6 per dozen.
