CHRISTIAN MEN’S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST will be held at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Third Presbyterian Church, Union Street, Uniontown. A full breakfast will be served followed by old-fashioned hymn singing, intercessory prayers and a gospel-centered message. The guest speaker will be Dick Dennis, president of the Fayette South Gideon Camp of the Gideon Bible Society.
GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY OF SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA is sponsoring a program about about how to collect tombstone readings, materials needed for photography and rubbing tips at 2 p.m. Saturday at Citizens Library, 55 S. College St., Washington. Linda Reese, a longtime member of the genealogical society, will be the presenter. The public is welcome to attend. GREENE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM will hold a book sale until Saturday at the Thomas Hughes House Reading Center in Jefferson. Items available include adult fiction and nonfiction, paperback books, children’s books, VHS tapes and books on cassette tape. The reading center will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. HAZEL G. CLUSS CIRCLE will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The program will be “Peace in Action” with Louise Hager as the leader. Shirley Sullivan is circle chairwoman. Lunch will follow the meeting.
