Flenniken Public Library offers computer training
Flenniken Public Library, located in Carmichales, is offering free computer classes with hands-on training.
Classes offered include:
Using a mouse, 1 to 2 p.m. May 24 – Learn how to manipulate a mouse and some of the keyboard keys. It should be taken before any other class, unless the participant has prior computer experience.
Microsoft Vista, 1 to 2 p.m. May 31 – Learn how to use the basics of Microsoft Vista.
Microsoft Word 2007, 1 to 2 p.m. June 7 – Learn how to use word to write letters and reports.
Beginning Internet, 1 to 2 p.m. June 14 – Learn how to get online and find needed information.
Since space is limited, participants must pre-register by calling 724-966-5263 or stop by the library between the hours of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
