ST. ANDREW VOLUNTEERS will sponsor a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Albright United Methodist Church, South Connellsville. The dinners will be eat in or takeout and will benefit the trustee fund. Tickets will be available at the door.

FAYETTE COUNTY SUNDAY SCHOOL ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE BOARD will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Central Fellowship Church in Connellsville. Those interested in Sunday School are invited to attend.

GREAT MEADOW CHAPTER OF DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION (DAR) will meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the visitors center at Fort Necessity. Following the business meeting, a member of the staff will talk about the various events and new discoveries at this historical site. The chapter plans to make a donation for the planting of native trees in the fort area as part of the 75th anniversary of the founding of Great Meadows Chapter. Those needing transportation to the fort can meet at the Marker residence at 240 Bennington Road, Hopwood at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call 724-437-3847.

COUNCIL 3026 OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Father Rodgers Social Hall at Seven Dolors Parish on Center St., Yukon. The menu includes salad, spaghetti, meatballs, garlic breadsticks, beverages and dessert. Eat in or takeout will be available.

REVERE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH will meet at 6 p.m. today at the Revere Community Center. Guest speaker will be Jen Soisson from Domestic Violence Services. For information, call 724-963-5983.

THE GREAT MEADOWS GARDEN CLUB, a member of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania and the National Garden Clubs Inc,., will present a holiday fashion show by Phyllis and luncheon at 11 a.m. Oct. 24 at Mount Summit Inn. Fashions may be purchased at the event. There is a fee to attend. Proceeds will benefit plantings at the Blue Star Lookout and throughout the mountain area as well as the club’s scholarship fund. Reservations must be made by Monday by calling 724-329-4049.

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAS Court Brownsville 1141 will meet today at the North Side Brownsville 1 fire hall. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting. Catholic women age 18 or older interested in the organization are welcome to attend the meetings.
