Our Caring Corner grief support program is currently enrolling families for the next family group set to begin on Monday, April 15. Families with children, adolescents or teens who have had a loved one or close friend die are invited to attend. Family group nights, for this upcoming group, will run from April 15 through June 10 for a total of eight week sessions. The group meets on Monday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. Each group begins with a small family meal. This unique community program is located at the East End United Community Center, 150 Coolspring St., Uniontown.

Our Caring Corner provides no therapy or counseling but, rather, a safe place for families to share their grief journey. There is no fee for the group, but registration is required prior to attending. Our Caring Corner is a child, adolescent and teen, family-centered, peer-support program which is available to Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland families.

Any child or teenager who has experienced a loss due to the death of a parent, family member or even a friend can contact Our Caring Corner.
