Hogan earns all-conference honors

Erica Hogan, a former three-sport performer and thousand-point performer at Geibel Catholic High School, has completed her third year with the St. Vincent College women’s basketball team. Hogan, a junior co-captain and point guard/shooting guard, earned honorable mention All-American Mideast Conference, where she led the Lady Bearcats with 373 points for an average of 12.9 per game.

She led the team in steals (85) and assists (93), had 108 rebounds (108 defensive) and logged a team-high 45 three-pointers in 132 tries for a .341 percentage as she was the only team member to start all 29 games, logging 969 minutes of playing time.

The daughter of Donald and Johnetta Hogan of Uniontown is majoring in sociology with a minor in elementary education.

Junior Morgan Foley, a Connellsville High School graduate, is also a member of the Lady Bearcats’ squad, where she plays forward.
