Connellsville added to a 10-point first quarter with a 19-3 second quarter to cruise to a 59-23 non-section road victory Monday at Geibel Catholic. The Lady Falcons carried the momentum into the second half, outscoring the Lady Gators 9-6 in the third quarter and 16-9 in the final eight minutes.

The Lady Falcons (4-6) had a well-balanced scoring attack with four players in double figures. Rachel Means led Connellsville with 13.

Ashley Benzio was strong underneath with 11 points with Alexis Metros and Billie Jo Haas adding 10 apiece.

Connellsville will travel to Monessen to compete in the Lady Greyhounds Christmas Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

Erica Speeney scored six points for the Lady Gators (4-3) with Julie Cummings adding five.

Geibel will play in the Waynesburg Central Christmas Tournament on Friday and Saturday
