California University 5, Pittsburgh University at Johnstown 2 – The California men’s soccer team bounced back from Monday’s loss on the road as it defeated Pitt Johnstown.

The Vulcans, 7-8 on the season, scored the first goal of the game as Sam Klock tallied at the 8-minute mark on a pass from Camilo Hinestrosa.

Jeff Hoffman was in goal for California in the first half and gave up one goal and had no saves. C.J. Cameron was the keeper in the second half and gave up one goal and posted three saves.

California will play at Shippensburg this Saturday.
