AG’s Hall scores 33 points in win over Uniontown

By Mike Ciarochi 1 min read

The Lady Colonials wrapped up the win in the third quarter by outscoring Uniontown, 21-14 to extend their lead to 57-35 heading into the final eight minutes. Uniontown got 27 points from its own scoring machine, junior Jocelyn Chandler, although AG limited her to six field goals. Chandler was 14 of 16 from the foul line, which is at least partially because she was taking the ball to the hoop more than normal.

“We’re trying to get her to go to the hole more,” Winfrey said. “She’ll be a more complete player once she can do that regularly, instead of settling for three-pointers all the time. She can break down a defender off the dribble. Over the next six games, we want her to play as hard as she can play and we’ll see what happens.”

Monahan added 11 for Uniontown.
