Pitt-Johnstown 69, California (Pa.) 60 – The Lady Mountain Cats won a battle of highly ranked teams in a non-conference game in Johnstown. California entered the game ranked third in the nation and second in the East Region in NCAA Division II while Pitt-Johnstown was ranked seventh in the East Region.
The difference in the game came at the foul line with the home team making 17-of-22 attempts while the Vulcans made only 3-of-10 tries.
Helen Young was a force for the Mountain Cats (11-4) with 24 points and 12 rebounds.
Megan Storck scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds before fouling out. Becky Siembak also scored 16 with Sara McKinney adding 10.
Bethany (W.Va.) 73, Waynesburg 66 – The Bison posted their 11th consecutive win over the Yellow Jackets with the home victory.
Bethany led 39-23 at the half, but Waynesburg managed to mount a second half rally.
Kyana Bradley led Waynesburg (9-8, 0-2) with 20 points. Katie Hardison led Bethany (14-3, 1-1) to victory with 16 points.
Pitt-Greensburg 71, LaRoche 49 – The Lady Bobcats won their 12th home game in a row, improving to 5-0 in the AMCC and 11-4 overall.
Annie Sral scored 14 to lead Pitt-Greensburg. Jessica Phillippi and Abbey Cunningham scored 12 each. Amy Bandzuch was scoreless in a reserve role.
Miami (Fla.) 79, Pittsburgh 76 – The Lady Panthers fell behind early only to have the second half rally fall short at home for a Big East Conference loss. Mandy Wittenmyer led Pittsburgh with 15 points. Jessica Allen and Brooke Stewart added 14 apiece.
