PITTSBURGH (AP) – Valeri Bure and Kristian Huselius each had a goal and an assist, and the Florida Panthers extended their winning streak against the Pittsburgh Penguins to seven games with a 3-2 victory Saturday night. Olli Jokinen added his team-leading seventh goal – and scored for the sixth straight game against Pittsburgh – as Florida built a 3-0 lead and held off the Penguins.

Florida goaltender Roberto Luongo lost his shutout bid 6:16 into the third period when Milan Kraft deflected a shot by Josef Melichar into the net for his third goal of the season.

Defenseman Drake Berehowsky made it 3-2 during a two-man advantage 2:14 later, taking a pass from Martin Straka and scoring for the second consecutive game.

The Penguins, the NHL’s lowest-scoring team, had converted just 2 of 46 power-play chances over nine games before Berehowsky scored.

Jokinen scored when he won a faceoff back to Pavel Trnka at the left point and then backhanded the puck past Sebastien Caron when Trnka’s shot bounced off Niklas Hagman with 44 seconds left in the first period.

A wide-open Huselius scored his third of the season from the slot 1:24 into the second period when he converted Bure’s pass from the right wing.

Huselius returned the favor with 5:21 left in the period, working a give-and-go with Bure, who skated past Brian Holzinger and deked Caron before scoring his fourth goal of the season.

At that point, Florida had scored on three of its last four shots against Caron, who was starting consecutive games for the first time since Oct. 11-16 and playing his first game at home this season.
