W&J rolls past Franklin & Marshall

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) – Chris Edwards passed for 266 yards and two touchdowns to lead Washington & Jefferson to a 36-14 victory over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday. Edwards, who finished 10-of-20, connected with Aaron Epps on TD passes of 49 and 69 yards in the first half. Matt Bettinazzi rushed for two touchdowns in the first quarter as Washington & Jefferson (2-0) took a 33-7 lead at the half.

Jeff Harner went 12-of-22 for 92 yards and one touchdown for Franklin & Marshall (1-2). F&M managed only 125 yards of total offense.

Bettinazzi finished with 82 yards on 14 carries. Epps caught three passes for 145 yards.
