WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) – Aaron Krepps scored three touchdowns and R.J. Zitzelsberger ran for two more as Washington & Jefferson remained undefeated by beating Westminster 54-14 on Saturday. Westminster (2-3, 0-1 Presidents Athletic Conference) managed just 190 yards on offense to 550 for Washington & Jefferson (6-0, 2-0), which entered the game ranked No. 11 in the AFCA Division III poll and averaging 39.4 points per game.

The Presidents lead the all-time series 24-2 and have won the last four meetings.

Zitzelsberger opened the scoring with a 1-yard run and Krepps scored on a 34-yard pass from Chris Edwards to give Washington & Jefferson a 14-0 lead less than six minutes into the game.

Westminster tied the game late in the quarter on a 2-yard run by Scott Froehlich and Mike Kohowski’s 17-yard return of an Edwards interception moments later.

But Krepps scored again, this time on a 53-yard run with 51 seconds left in the quarter, to give Washington & Jefferson a 20-14 lead it would never lose.

Krepps, a Belle Vernon grad, would score again on a 31-yard pass from Edwards and Zitzelsberger added another 1-yard scoring run. Edwards finished with three touchdown passes, the third to Jon Miller for 39 yards.

Ryan Mendel scored on a 41-yard run and Miller caught a second touchdown pass of 55 yards from backup Brent Marsteller.
