Kreps leads W&J past Hanover

HANOVER, Ind. (AP) – Aaron Kreps had two touchdown receptions and ran for another score as Washington & Jefferson defeated Hanover 27-15 Saturday. Kreps caught a 17-yard pass from quarterback Chris Edwards with 14:07 left in the second quarter to give the Presidents (2-0) a 14-6 lead. Kreps ran for a 43-yard touchdown with 13:41 left in the third to make the score 20-9.

Later in the quarter, Kreps caught a 5-yard pass from Edwards to make the score 27-9.

Edwards completed 14-of-23 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns.

The Panthers (0-2) took a 6-0 lead with 10:22 to play in the first after Mike Russell caught the first of his two touchdowns from quarterback Greg Gogel. Russell’s second touchdown of 3 yards came toward the end of the third quarter.
