Gators still alive

Geibel Catholic remained alive in its bid for a boys PIAA basketball berth after St. Joseph defeated Serra Catholic, 70-64, Tuesday night in the WPIAL Class A semifinals.

Five WPIAL teams advance to PIAA competition, and Geibel needs a St. Joseph win Friday to advance. The Spartans knocked the Gators out of the playoffs last Saturday, 63-47.
