Henry and Miller win big
On the final night of NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series action at Motordrome Speedway, Bobby Henry scored his sixth win of the year in the Napa NASCAR Super Late Models, but fell short in the Championship standings.
Rick Miller earned his third consecutive Motordrome Track Championship by finishing second in the feature event.
Also returning to victory lane on Friday were Mike Bakalon (Smail Pontiac-GMC Modifieds), Dave Tavormina (Subway Street Stocks), Jeff Giles (Yellow Book Chargers) and Matt Gardner (Advance Auto Parts American Flyers).
Schumacher wins
MOHNTON, Pa. (AP) – Tony Schumacher won the Toyo Tires Nationals for a third straight season Sunday to extend his lead in the NHRA standings to 100 points.
Schumacher inched closer to a second straight and third overall series championship by defeating his closest chaser, Larry Dixon.
The other winners at the $1.5 million race were Tony Pedregon (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Angelle Sampey (Pro Stock Motorcycle).

Walsh posts 13 tackles in W&J win
Junior cornerback and Waynesburg Central High School graduate Cory Walsh had a game-high 13 tackles (10 solo) as Washington & Jefferson College defeated Allegheny College 45-21 in PAC action Saturday.
Senior quarterback Chris Edwards set a NCAA Division III record by completing each of his first 21 pass attempts.
For the afternoon, he threw for a career-high 419 yards.
Belle Vernon graduate Aaron Krepps was on the receiving end of a two-point conversion to give the Presidents (3-0) a 14-7 lead.
W&J continues its non-conference slate on Saturday as it travels to Emory & Henry College for a 1 p.m. start.
