Saints-Steelers game time changed

1 min read

PITTSBURGH (AP) – The starting time for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Nov. 12 home game against the New Orleans Saints has been changed from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. EST. The change was made necessary when NBC, as part of the NFL’s flexible scheduling format during seven weeks of the season, chose to move the Chicago Bears-New York Giants game at the Meadowlands to an evening start. That game had been scheduled as Fox’s primary game that day.

Because of the change, the Steelers will play three consecutive home games at 4:15. Their Oct. 15 game against the Chiefs started then, as will the Nov. 5 game against Denver.

The Steelers also play two night home games this season, meaning a maximum of three of their eight home games will kick off at the usual 1 p.m. starting time on Sunday.
