LH-Uniontown tickets

Tickets for the Uniontown-Laurel Highlands boys basketball game on Friday will go on sale in the Laurel Highlands main office Thursday from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The limited number of tickets will be distributed as follows: (a) Reserved season ticket holders will be permitted to purchase one ticket per reserved seat; (b) Any remaining tickets will go on sale Friday at the senior high school main office. Phone orders will not be taken.

Tickets for the game will also be on sale at Uniontown High School on Thursday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. for Uniontown fans. Ticket sales will continue through Friday as long as tickets remain or until 3 p.m. Adult tickets cost $3 while student tickets are $1.

Uniontown-Connellsville tickets on sale Friday

Tickets for the Connellsville-Uniontown boys basketball game on Saturday at Uniontown will be on sale Friday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. in the senior high school office. Adult tickets are $3 with student tickets costing $1.

No student tickets will be sold at the door.

Track & field

Clark honored by PSAC

California University of Pa. junior Chris Clark was named the PSAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week after establishing a new school mark in the 5,000-meters at the University of Akron Saturday.

Clark finished second overall and was the top collegiate finisher in the 5K with a NCAA Division II qualifying time of 14:26.71. His record-setting time is the second-fastest time in the country this season.

The Vulcans return to the track this Saturday at the Bucknell Invitational.

Golf

Cal U clinics

California University of Pa. will offer two clinics to introduce the sport to beginners as well as help veteran players. Entry fee ranges from $50 for one day for a junior beginning player to $155 for participation in multiple clinics. The clinics are schedule for Saturday, March 3 and Wednesday-Friday, March 7-9.
