The Yellow Jackets (2-4) won the first game 9-2 and the second game 3-2.

Bryan Leonis went all seven innings to earn the win in the second game, allowing two unearned runs on just one hit.

Martin Luther scored runs in the first and third to open up a 2-0 lead, but Waynesburg tied it with a run in the fourth and a run in the sixth.

Phil Anderson reached on an error in leading off the bottom of the seventh for the Yellow Jackets, and Sinclair bunted him to second. Lavrusky then singled to right-center to easily bring in Anderson with the winning run.

Steele had two of Waynesburg’s five hits.
