Cal U’s Brown coaches winning all-star team
The NABC West All-Stars, guided by California University of Pa. coach Bill Brown, rallied from a 20-point deficit to defeat the East, 97-92, in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II All-Star game on Saturday. The East led by 20 in the first half and were up 55-41 at halftime before the West stormed back.
The game was played at the James Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The West’s Damien Lolar of West Texas A&M scored a game-high 20 points.
Lolar’s 3-pointer with just under four minutes remaining pub the West ahead to stay.
