Sines honored

Connellsville graduate Amanda Sines was named the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Richard Stockton College Invitational this past weekend.

Sines has the PSAC’s top throws so far this season in the discus (131 feet, 3 inches) and shot put (41-5), and the second-best toss in the hammer throw (140-7).

Albert Gallatin shot put thrower Matthew Angel was misidentified as Jon Angel in Wednesday’s editions.
