Shane Molyneaux tripled and ripped three singles as Phil’s Tire upended Waynesburg 13-7 in Fayette County League action Thursday. Teammate Jody Wilkerson had two doubles and a single, while Ryan Shetterly doubled and singled. The Phil’s Tire squad totaled 17 hits, compared to Waynesburg’s eight.

Winning pitcher Ryan Russell worked one and one-thirds inning with no hits, one strikeout and one walk.

Brian Herewicz went on record with the loss. He went one inning with four runs, four hits and a strikeout.

J.W. Kayla had the hot bat for Waynesburg with a double and two singles, while Mike Damerow singled twice.

Phil’s Tire is back in action today at home against Carmichaels.

Blaney Farms 8, Michael’s Heros 4 – Shayne Busti tagged a solo home run with two outs in the first inning en route to a County League win over host Michael’s Heros.

Todd Dunham picked up his first win on the mound with four innings of action, four hits, a run, two strikeouts and two walks.

Craig Hriblan went home with the loss with four innings pitched, seven runs, five hits, three strikeouts and four walks.

Jared Lapkowicz had two singles for Blaney Farms.

Blaney Farms hosts Waynesburg today at 6 p.m.
