PIAA basketball exam clinic set
A clinic will be held to help prepare for the PIAA basketball officials exam beginning Sunday, April 13. The clinic will be held every Sunday from April 13 to May 25 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Laurel Highlands Middle School.
The cost is $30, and this includes completion of the PIAA officials’ application, rule books and test fees. A local test will be held Tuesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. and will consist of 100 questions.
Potential instructors include Bill Sinning (WPIAL male rep.), Pam Cherubin (WPIAL female rep), Regis Giles (WPIAL Rules Interpreter), John McCune (WPIAL Supervisor of Evaluators), Don Woodward (Laurel Chapter Assigner), Bob Fee (Laurel Chapter Mechanics Instructor) and Rick Hauger (Laurel Highlands boys coach and certified PIAA official).
