Rohanna in U.S. Amateur Championship

By The 1 min read

Waynesburg Central graduate Robert Rohanna missed the cut into match play by one stroke in the 2007 U.S. Amateur Championship played at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. Rohanna returns to the 2008 championship with that in mind, beginning his quest for the country’s amateur title today at 9:10 a.m. on Pinehurst (N.C.) No. 4. He’ll start on No. 1 with Brunson Burgoon and Jack Fields. The trio moves to Pinehurst No. 2 for Tuesday’s second round of stroke play with a 2:25 p.m. tee time.

The top 64 golfers advance to Wednesday’s match play.
