Boxing show set for today
An amateur boxing show will be held today at the Uniontown VFW beginning at 2 p.m., and the card will showcase several local fighters. The 11-bout show is being sponsored by the Uniontown Boxing Club, which is under the volunteer direction of former title holder and Uniontown resident Jacy Kuhn.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as well as amateur boxing in Fayette County.
Tickets for the event range in pricing from $20 for reserved and balcony seating, to $10 for general admission.
