Running Coffey wins Falcon 5K Cameron Coffey, of Brownsville, finished with a time of 16:55.6 last Saturday to win the Falcon 5K run. Connellsville’s Nick Miller was second in the run with a time of 17:34.2, while Jonathan Rohlf was third in 18:00.

Dunbar’s Debbie Conner was the first female runner to cross the finish line in a winning time of 20:09.3. Hiller’s Janet Zelner was second with a time of 21:35.9 and Mount Pleasant’s Dana Newlin was third in 21:54.6.

Lemont Furnace’s Kevin Cech was the first walker to finish with a winning time of 32:44.2. Smock’s Dave Androsik was second in 34:53.8 with Brownsville’s Frank Ptak in third place only three seconds behind.

Connellsville’s Jamie Brooks won the female 5K walk and was second overall in a time of 34:51.8. East Millsboro’s Linda Savochka was second in 35:56.5 while Uniontown’s Beth Storey finished third with her time of 37:17.0.

Uniontown’s Alexis Kostelnik was the first runner to finish the children’s 1/2-mile run with her time of 3:00.8. Brownsville’s Nick Fetty was the first boy to cross the finish line with his time of 3:26.2.
