Elementary students enjoy Decathlon Day at Penn State Fayette
UNIONTOWN – Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus recently held a Decathlon Day with 26 girls and 26 boys from local elementary schools participating. Students competed in the following 10 events: broad jump, step-ups, lay-up drill, vertical jump, crab walk, suicide drill, long jump, basketball obstacle course, softball/baseball toss for accuracy, and a 1/6 mile run. Medals were awarded to the following 12 students: Girls 1st place: Peyton Jacobs, Brownsville Central Elementary
2nd place: Alexandria Seto, Cardale Elementary
3rd place: Keyonna McCrae, Cox-Donahey Elementary
4th place: Dominique Brown, Cardale Elementary
5th place: Maris Seto, Cardale Elementary
6th place: Dejura Marsh, Cox-Donahey Elementary
Boys
1st place: Marcellous Grooms, Brownsville Central Elementary
2nd place: Jaryn Addis, Cox-Donahey Elementary
3rd place: Cory Lent, Brownsville Central Elementary
4th place: Jimmy Pierce, R. W. Clark Elementary
5th place: Nicholas Wrona, Ben Franklin Elementary
6th place: Daniel Cavinee, St. Mary Nativity Elementary
