Whyel cards ace

Dave Whyel, of Carmichaels, scored a hole-in-one during the regular “Monday Morning Scramble” on Aug. 1 at Carmichaels Golf Club. Whyel used a 5-wood to ace No. 3, a 155-yard par-3. Rich Aultman, George Banks, Alan Walker and Tom McCombs witnessed the shot.
