Uniontown season tickets

Reservations for Uniontown Area football season tickets for adults can be made by calling the high school office at (724) 439-5000 weekdays between 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning Tuesday. All seats will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and last year’s season ticket holders will have the option to purchase the same seats. Cost of a season ticket is $12 for home games on Sept. 15 (Greensburg Salem), Sept. 30 (Hollidaysburg), Oct. 7 (Franklin Regional), and Oct. 21 (Derry). All home games have a 7 p.m. start. Student season tickets will be sold at the high school during the week of Sept. 6 at $3 per plan.

Harrison scores hole-in-one

Jim Harrison scored a hole-in-one Friday at Duck Hollow Golf Club, acing No. 3, a 92-yard par-3, with a 9-iron. Tom Caudill, Tom Rapp and Jim LoPresti witnessed the shot.
