12 Local Students Make All-Star Team

Six students from Waynesburg were selected to play on this year’s Interstate Conference All-Star Team. Southmoreland had four chosen, while Brownsville had two.

Those chosen from Waynesburg include: Trenton Bosworth, Nick Zupper, Tevan McDowell, Daniel Davis, Justin Whitlach, and Ian Patterson.

Asa costlenock, Connor McKlveen, Sakota Datz, and Dalton Barbus were selected from Southmoreland.

The two players from Brownsville that will be part of the All-Star team are Nick Landman and Trey Hall.

Waynesburg landed four players on the All-Star Team’s first team offense; McDowell on the offensive line, Davis at tight end, Zupper in the running back position, and Ian Patterson as the team’s kicker.

Southmoreland and Brownsville each have one player on the first team offense. Datz from Southmoreland grabbed quarterback, and Hall from Brownsville will be playing as the other running back.

Jeanette and Greensburg Central Catholic lead the number of players on the team, each with nine.
