Uniontown boys still alive after South Fayette wins

By The 1 min read

The Uniontown boys basketball team is still alive, but the season is officially done for the Uniontown girls and Connellsville boys.

The Red Raiders earned a berth into the PIAA playoffs after South Fayette won its Class AAA semifinal game Tuesday night. Pending the Lions’ outcome Friday night, Uniontown will enter the state playoffs Tuesday as either the No. 5 or 6 seed.

The Lady Raiders’ season came to a close Wednesday night when Indiana lost to Blackhawk, 69-81, and the Falcons year finished with Mt. Lebanon’s 54-48 loss to Chartiers Valley.
