Raiders’ Jones dives to 7th-place

Uniontown diver Jonathan Jones medaled with a seventh-place finish Thursday at the PIAA Class AA Diving Championships at Bucknell University’s Kinney Natatorium, in Lewisburg, Pa.

Jones posted a score of 290.05 in the semifinals and followed up with a score of 387.65 in the finals.

Fellow Red Raider Bryce Markwardt finished 23rd in the preliminary round with a score of 125.60.

Dan Roberts, of District 10 school Fairview, won the title with a score of 479.45.
