By Heraldstandard.Com 2 min read

Southmoreland put 21 points on the board against powerful Greensburg Central Catholic, but the Centurions were just too strong in posting a 48-21 win over the Scotties Friday night at Alverton.

GCC improved to 2-0, while Southmoreland fell to 1-1.

HeraldStandard.com Touchdown Club leader Asa Costelnock, who scored three touchdowns in a week one win over Brownsville, added two more scores to give him 30 points on the young season. Datz completed 11 of 21 passes for 136 yards, three scores and two interceptions.
