Rob Burchianti Super Bowl pick

1 min read

Super Bowl XLVI will be similar to last year’s game between the Steelers and Packers, at least quarterback-wise. I see Eli Manning as Ben Roethlisberger, a guy who was the hero in his previous Super Bowl because he came through with a game-winning drive when the odds were against him, but who now is unreasonably seen as almost a super-human player who is expected to excel in the clutch. The pressure in the latter situation is exponentially greater than in the former, especially in the final minutes. Big Ben found that out last year. Eli will today. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick take home Lombardi Trophy No. 4.

Patriots 31, Giants 30
