Winning pitcher Haley Bashada had her second double and Molly Gauden followed with a triple in the top of the eighth to score the winning run for Belle Vernon.
Brownsville 11, Uniontown 0 — Miranda Arison (2-0) struck out 13 leading Brownsville to a non-section victory.
Katie Whyel had a double, two singles, and four RBIs for Brownsville, while teammate Taylor Frost had a double and Kayla Hetrick hit a triple.

Jefferson-Morgan 19, Clay-Battelle 9 — Brandon Lesko went 3-5, with two doubles, four RBIs, and scored five runs, playing his part in Jefferson-Morgan’s victory over Clay-Battelle.
Winning pitcher Brandon Faieta also had 3 RBIs, while Austin Clark and Tyler Bowman each had doubles, Bowman with two.
Jefferson-Morgan rises to 2-0, while Clay-Battelle evens out to 1-1.

Washington 4, Brownsville 1 — Doubles team Devan Drilack and Scott Gardener came through for Brownsville’s only win Monday, losing a Section 1-AA match against visiting Washington.
Washington’s Nick Kumer defeated Ryan Hartz in his victory at No. 1 singles. Rob Engle defeated Brownsville’s Cameron Smith at No. 2, while Ray Rodriguez took No. 3 defeating Nic Calvaresi.
Washington’s doubles team of Mark Spruill and Jason D’Alessendro took the No. 2 double spot, defeating Brownsville’s Nick Zeiner and Derek Lent.
Brownsville (2-4,0-4) hosts Mount Pleasant Wednesday.
