Rostraver Sportsment Club youth pheasant hunt — A youth pheasant hunt for ages 11-16 will be held on Oct. 6 at the Rostraver Sportsmen Club. Fairbank youth pheasant hunt — The Fairbank and PF Tri-County CH is holding youth pheasant hunt on Oct. 6. The first 50 children will be eligible. Participants will use muzzleloaders. Sporting clay fun shoot — The Masontown Police K-9 unit will hold a Sporting Clay Fun Shoot fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 23, at the Nemacolin Woodlands Shooting Academy. Cost is $100 per individual or $400 per team of four shooters. Registration will be accepted until the morning of the event. Registration opens a 8 a.m. with games and warm-up to follow at 9. Running deer shoot — The South Connellsville Rod & Gun Club will host a running deer shoot every Sunday in October starting at 1 p.m. The shoot is open to the public. The shooting range will be closed starting at 12 p.m. to allow for this event.
