Cameron tops West Greene for first win

Cameron (W.Va.) scored 10 runs in the fifth inning to secure its first win of the baseball season Thursday, 18-7, over West Greene in six innings.

Both teams left the field with a 1-5 record after combining for 26 hits.

Cameron had 15 hits, including a triple from Cole Clutter and doubles from winning pitcher Ivan Hall, Mark Walker, Levi Knight and Ryan Clutter.

West Greene had 11 hits, including Donnie White’s triple and doubles from losing pitcher Dillon Shields and Logan Vliet.
