Fort Cherry tops Brownsville, 8-3

Fort Cherry put a four spot up in the first inning and that’s all they needed as they defeated Section 2-AA foe Brownsville, 8-3, on Saturday afternoon.

Noah Saxon had a rough first inning but was strong the rest of the game, striking out five, as Fort Cherry snuck out eight hits over the seven innings.

Tyler Spohn and Shane Roebuck each had doubles for Brownsville in the loss.
